Below you will find a clear explanation of our data practices. Using the app means you agree to this policy.
What We Collect and Why
Good news: Homestead Keeper does not collect any personal information. There is no sign-up, no tracking and no data sent to our servers.
The one situation where we receive personal information is when you reach out to support.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive data such as health, biometric or financial account information.
Why We Use Your Information
Information is used only to:
- To comply with legal obligations
- To keep the app safe and prevent abuse
- To answer your messages and provide support
Your personal information is never sold, rented or traded.
Disclosure of Information
We do not share your information except as follows:
- Service providers: trusted companies that help us run the app (for example hosting, analytics or crash reporting), bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
- Business transfers: if Finnian David Cross is involved in a merger or acquisition; your information would remain protected by this policy.
Why We're Allowed to Process Data
Under European data protection law, we process personal data on these grounds:
- Consent: for optional features like tracking, notifications or location — revocable at any time in iOS Settings.
- Contract: because we need the data to provide what you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests: including keeping the app reliable and protecting it from abuse.

No Cross-App Tracking
Homestead Keeper contains no tracking for advertising purposes and never accesses your device's advertising identifier.
How Long We Keep Data
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Keeping Your Data Safe
Protecting your information is a priority. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to those who need it.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is perfectly secure.
Your Choices and Rights
You are in control of your information. Subject to applicable law, you can:
- Access: find out what information we have about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: request that your data be erased.
- Restriction & objection: ask us to stop specific kinds of processing.
- Portability: get your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: whenever processing is based on your consent.
Under California law, you may request details about the categories of data we collect. We do not sell personal information, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children's Privacy
Homestead Keeper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Where Data Is Processed
Your data may be stored on servers located outside your country. Any such transfer is protected by legally recognised safeguards.
Third-Party Links
When you follow a link to another website, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Do Not Track Signals
Because we do not track users across third-party services, we do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

As Homestead Keeper grows, this policy may be revised. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.

License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, you may use Homestead Keeper for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. This license cannot be transferred.
Your Responsibilities
When using the app, you agree to the following:
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the app or its servers.
- Do not create derivative works based on the app.
- Never use the app to break the law.
- Do not upload content that is offensive or infringes on others' rights.
Ownership
All rights, title and interest in Homestead Keeper remain with Finnian David Cross. Trademarks and content in the app may not be used without our prior written permission.
Ending Your Use
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You can end them by uninstalling the app; we may end them if you breach them.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without any express or implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. We cannot promise it will always be available or free of bugs.
Liability
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the last twelve months, where permitted by law.
Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded with Finnian David Cross only, and not with Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms. Where these Terms are silent, Apple's Standard EULA applies.
Updates
If we make material changes, we will let you know in advance through the app or this page.
